Alexis Jacknow is an LA based, multidisciplinary storyteller.

Her debut short film, AGAIN, world premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival and was distributed by Amazon.  Her episode, OVERNIGHT, for Netflix's LOVE DAILY, garnered her a 2019 WGA Award Nomination.

Other recent work includes her Hulu horror shorts CLOCK and COSTUME CHANGE, which aired on FX and Freeform and were written up in the LA Times.  The feature version of CLOCK is now in development with 20th Digital and Hulu.  

She is currently in pre-production on her first feature, THE VILLAGER (2019 IFP Week No Borders Selection), and is in development on her horror feature, THE BLINDINGS, with 21 Laps and Amazon.

As an actor, Alexis' career spans film, television, theater, and dozens of national commercials.

She holds a B.F.A. in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and sits on faculty as a Lecturer at UCLA's Department of Theater.  She is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, WGA, AEA, SDC and the IAMA Theatre Company.
